Special Interest Groups
The American Heritage Interest Group members explore their interest in history by visiting local historical sites or inviting guest speakers to address the group. They travel around the Cape and to nearby communities and may also meet in members' homes to explore topics of interest.
This group meets at 1:00 pm on the 3rd Thursday of the month at the Chatham Community Center. The group selects books to be read, which are then reviewed by a member, followed by an open group discussion.
The Civic Interest group sponsors programs with timely presentations on government and community agencies or groups in the area. The group meets the 3rd Friday of the month (September through May) at the Community Center or venues to match the presentations. Meetings begin at 10:00am and conclude by noon.
The Cultural Interest Group will attend concerts, plays, movies, museums and events on Cape Cod and throughout New England. Meeting schedule will be flexible and determined by event.
