Special Interest Groups
American Heritage
The American Heritage Interest Group members explore their interest in history by visiting local historical sites or inviting guest speakers to address the group. They travel around the Cape and to nearby communities and may also meet in members' homes to explore topics of interest.
Literature
This group meets at 1:00 pm on the 3rd Thursday of the month at the Chatham Community Center. The group selects books to be read, which are then reviewed by a member, followed by an open group discussion.
Cultural
The Cultural Interest Group will attend concerts, plays, movies, museums and events on Cape Cod and throughout New England. Meeting schedule will be flexible and determined by event.
Epicurean
The Epicurean Interest Group is a dynamic group who enjoy food and fun; traveling to restaurants, wineries, orchards, tea rooms, farms and more. This group enjoys entertaining, sharing recipes and friendship.
Stitching, New in 2024!
The Stitching Group meets weekly from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Community Center. This is a new special interest group that invites women to bring stitching projects (knitting, crocheting, embroidery, needlepoint, quilting, rug hooking etc.) to weekly meetings to share ideas, learn from one another and enjoy good conversion.
