At the General Meeting we hosted children's author, Heidi Clemmer, who spoke about her work as a nature educator and the importance of teaching children about eco-systems. She was motivated to write several books as she discovered the intense interest young children have for learning about nature. She received a very warm response from the membership and she was encouraged to share her books to a larger audience.
Four new members were welcomed at the meeting::Ann Brown, Melissa Masi, Janet Toenniessen and Anne Donoghue.
